My next project (for the Fall) is the Irish Knit Poncho. Made from a "lofty" wool direct off the sheep in Maine, this item should knit up quickly because the yarn is super bulky. But what I love most of all about it is that you can feel the lanolin as the yarn moves through your fingers. Even though the lanolin touch is slight, I have no need for lotion this time of year on my winter dry hands. Thanks Sheep of Maine!
These last two pictures are of the first half of my poncho. Just starting the second half. Nice, fun project!
