Trip to Sunnybank in Wayne, NJ

Is it possible to walk through your memories?  Last Sunday I tried.  We went to visit Sunnybank, home to Albert Payson Terhune and the dogs he made famous in his stories.  As we drove through the gates I had this feeling of deja vue.  In my mind's eye I could see Lad running up the drive to greet us.

Here is a picture of the setting that Terhune made famous.  The house is gone, the location is now the parking lot.

There is a group trying to restore the park and the dog graves.
